Pa'rami' are perfections of higher virtue. Pa'rami' is that which enables one to go to the further shore. There are ten kinds of
Pa'rami'.

(1) Giving or Generosity (Da'na) May you be charitable and helpful.
(2) Morality or Good Conduct (Si'la) May you be good and pure.
(3) Renunciation (Nikkhama) May you not be selfish and selfless.
(4) Wisdom (Pan'n'a) May you be wise and give your wisdom to others.
(5) Energy or Perseverance (Vi'riya) May you be energetic and persevering: May you be of service to all.
(6) Patience (Khanti') May you be patient.
(7) Truthfulness (Sacca') May you truthful and honest.
(8) Determination (Adhittha'na) May you have an iron will.
(9) Loving-kindness (Metta') May you be kind and friendly.
